What's included

Join us for a sweet 2 hour baking and decorating cupcake class and learn with the professional guidence of Pastry Chef Laura, 

owner of The Dessert Deli.

This workshop is great for both individuals and groups with each class consisting of up to 8 adults.

This class will cover:

• All about the best ingredients to make your cupcakes
• Methods & techniques of how to make, portion and bake your cupcakes
• How to make the perfect buttercream & information on how to colour & flavour the buttercream
• Getting to grips with handling & filling piping bags
• Decorating the cupcakes with a variety of piping nozzles & design techniques
• Finishing off your 6 cupcakes with a selection of sprinkles
• Learn lots of baking tips & tricks from Laura Amos who has 25+ years experience as a Professional Pastry Chef
• Take home a box of 6 of your very own beautifully baked and decorated cupcakes
• Laura will also provide a recipe card for you so that you can recreate more of these delicious cupcakes at home

Please note all hair must be neatly tied up & all jewellery to be removed before attending the class as this is a professional kitchen in use and we take health & safety very seriously.

Train: The closest train station is Clapham Junction. It is a 12 minute walk from here. Exit at St John's Hill/Town Centre and turn left, walk up Lavender Hill and The Dessert Deli is located inside Battersea Business Centre (look out for the big blue gates)

Bus: 77, 87, 156 and 345 from Clapham Junction Station/The Falcon towards Lavender Hill. Get off at Tipthorpe Road bus stop.

Car: Free parking for up two hours in Asda car park on Lavender Hill. Walk up Lavender Hill and The Dessert Deli is located inside Battersea Business Centre (look out for the big blue gates) or you can pay by meter parking on nearby streets  such as Stormont Road, Tipthorpe Road, Rush Hill Road and Shirley Grove. There is no parking available in the business centre, however you are able to 'drop off' & 'collect'. Please let the parking attendant know you are dropping off or collecting from The Dessert Deli UNIT 16.
